A Thought: If a conversation takes place online (about you) and your not there to hear it, did it actually happen?

  • Companies are implementing social channels, but not planning Social Strategies.
  • The SOC in Social is Share Of Conversation
  • Build Bridges, not Walls.
  • Redtape and politics slow down Social Strategies
  • The social consumer is making decisions with or without us.
  • Every month 700b minutes are spent on Facebook
  • YouTube is the second largest search engine (larger than the rest combined).
  • Attention is the new currency of marketing.
  • Think about what it takes to get someone to " Stop, Click, Share"
  • You must "Engage". Otherwise, you are just noise spikes.
  • Each of us individually is being measured by what you share and who you know.
  • You Klout score is your social currency online. The FICA of online scores.
  • Resonance score. How long did a tweet stay alive (RT).  The best tweets get an hour.
  • In the future everybody will be famous for 15 minutes (15 minutes of fame is dead).
  • "may i have your intention please..."
  • How do you show someone that you actually have something for them?
  • People are not going to websites. They are making information come to them
  • News no longer breaks, it tweets.
Old Navy's recent FourSquare 20% off campaign (for checking in) generated lots of social discussions. However the physical experience sucked!  None of the store associates knew about it.

  • The transformative equation for business
Live by the idea of "Resonance". Keep the message / conversation alive  Resonance requires Relevance. It requires inspiring action.
