Elaine Price: 9/8/2009

I am deeply saddened to share with you that Elaine Price unexpectedly passed away over the weekend. Elaine was highly respected throughout the company, industry and her broader community.  Her ideas were inspirational and her care for doing the right thing rang deep.  She will be missed dearly by many and for a long time to come.

Please keep her husband Randy and their sons Tim & David, as well as the rest of their family, in your thoughts and prayers.  Funeral arrangements are pending but will be provided when available.
We made the Inc500/5000 list of America’s fastest growing, privately held, business again for a 4th year in a row, and in doing so nearly tripled the Software Industry’s benchmark growth rate over the last 3 years with an 83.2% growth!  See the attached letter from the Inc500 and more details at the following link:  http://www.inc.com/inc5000/2009/company-profile.html?id=200931870.
Well, we made it again!

This is the 4th year in a row…  When we made it last year, only 6 other software companies had made it 3 years in a row.  I wonder how many of those 6 made it 4 times (you can be sure I’ll let you know)…

Congratulations to you all.

Richard
It is with deep regret that I must inform you we have reduced our workforce by 6 positions today in order to lower our cost structure and protect the long term viability of the company.

The current economic conditions and our sales pipeline did not support our staffing levels.  This move positions us to be a profitable and sustainable company during Q2-Q4 2009 without having to achieve extraordinary results during one of the worst recessions in history.  We expect this to be the last round of cuts and expect to be hiring toward the end of 2009.
