Downsizing Company Announcement: 4/20/2009
It is with deep regret that I must inform you we have reduced our workforce by 6 positions today in order to lower our cost structure and protect the long term viability of the company.
The current economic conditions and our sales pipeline did not support our staffing levels. This move positions us to be a profitable and sustainable company during Q2-Q4 2009 without having to achieve extraordinary results during one of the worst recessions in history. We expect this to be the last round of cuts and expect to be hiring toward the end of 2009.
The decisions were very difficult to make and in no way reflect the capabilities of the people impacted. Please keep these individuals in mind if you hear of any opportunities.
We have our regularly scheduled Town Hall meeting next Wednesday and we will provide a complete business update at that time.
