Major Colon Robles ("Rene" for us  Civilians), who has been with Crown for nearly 9 years - and is in the active Reserve - sponsored me a ride with the Air National Guard yesterday.  The program is called "bosslift" where the Department of Defense encourages employers to hire the Guard and Reserve (who are increasingly protecting our country).

Attached is a video of me laying on my belly at the bottom of a KC135 StratoTanker (that was built in 1960) videoing the refueling connection to a C-5 Galaxy to refuel it (this particular video was a test connection OFF of autopilot).  The C-5 is the Air Force's largest plane and one of the largest aircraft in the world.  It is the one you see circling Dayton all the time.  We took off from Columbus OH, flew to Evansville Indiana where we met up with the C-5, then flew training missions with the C-5 over KY and TN.  After the mission, we returned to base at Columbus.  The entire trip was 3 hours.

After the refueling, we got to see the C5 do a touch and go landing right in front of us.

Thanks Rene for setting this up, and thank you from us all for your support and protection of our Country!
