Effective immediately, Mark Kennedy will assume responsibility as the President of the Professional Services business.

In this role, Mark will have ultimate responsibility for Crown’s Professional Services & Consulting Business.  The Solution Portfolio Managers (Guy, Brad and Lynn) will continue to report to Mark as part of this business.  Both John Garvin and Chris Torkelson will  now report to Mark in their current roles as Director PS Delivery and Director PS Sales respectively.  Both Elaine Price and Kathryn Kendell will now report to Richard Hearn in their current roles as Alliances Director and Marketing Director.

While we expect there will be further changes in the business down the road, there are no other reporting changes at this time.  The attached organizational chart depicts the new reporting relationships.

We’ve had significant progress in our PS business in Q2 and expect this change to further support the growth of our consulting business.  In Mark’s words:

“I’m really excited at the opportunity to help our firm realize the promise of our hybrid business model.  We’re obviously going to press our advantage in the marketplace to assemble incredible value props from our software & consulting capabilities.  We’re also going to significantly streamline our account management practices to deepen client relationships and focus on the total client experience from working with Crown.  Oh yeah, we’ll also be filling up the software emerging market pipeline with innovative new software offerings to keep Besecker busy & the software business brimming with products born from “work worth paying for” services.”

This change is effective July 1, 2008.
