Team,

As many of you know, Dave Bennett is one of Crown’s founders and has been an active leader in the content industry for many years.  Since its inception, Crown has leveraged Dave’s talents in a variety of official capacities including: Project Manager, Project Architect, Marketing Director, Partner Relationships, Benefits Coordinator, Outsourcing Director, and Managed Services Director. His unofficial duties have included many of the diverse (and fun or unusual) projects needed to support our growth.  Most importantly, Dave has guided the nature our internal and external relationships with a fair, compassionate hand that has always served us well professionally and personally.

It is with mixture of disappointment (for Crown) and pleasure (for Dave) that I share with you Dave’s decision to pursue career opportunities beyond Crown.  He will remain as an owner/investor but will no longer be an employee with an active, day to day role in the company.  Dave will maintain an ongoing connection as an Outside Advisor to the firm and lend his strong support to Crown’s continued growth.   Dave’s daily presence will certainly be missed, especially in the Dayton office, as he plans to initially spend time in South Carolina with his wife and son.

Dave has already initiated activities to ensure a smooth transition with his departure.  Rick Macartney will assume responsibility for the Managed Services (SaaS and BPO) business unit and Elaine Pelletier will manage our Partner Channel.  Please direct any questions in these respective areas to Rick and Elaine.

Because this is a significant event in Crown’s history, we are planning a brief company meeting for this Friday.  I’d like to take a few minutes from your busy schedule to acknowledge Dave’s role with Crown, wish him well in his new endeavors, and inform everyone of the transition.  You will see an invite shortly for a conference call – I hope you can all attend.

Best Regards,
