Effective Today, Monday, October 15, 2007.

Crown Partners takes a step to prepare for BCO/BCA 2.0 by acquiring Dayton based Essential Analytics (EA).  This is Crown’s first step towards preparing itself for the next generation of business content optimization and automation.

Brad Gingrich, owner and founder of EA comes to Crown with over 10 years of experience in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space.  Similar to Crown’s business model, EA was built around an enterprise platform, Hyperion (recently acquired by Oracle), in the EPM arena.  With this business, we expect to add 15 new folks to the company by the end of 2008, and will drive business commiserate with our other ECM COEs.  Further, we will start to cross-pollinate our existing software applications and solutions with Business Intelligence and Performance Management concepts.

New clients immediately added to the Crown client portfolio:  5/3 Bank, Lexis Nexis, J&J (Ethicon Endosurgery) and Luxotica among others.

Attached is a presentation prepared to communicate our forward looking thinking about BCA 2.0.

We expect to have an external press release soon but feel free to share the news with your clients.
