It's been a while since I sent one of these…

With the election behind us we can all focus on what moves our businesses forward.  I expect that much of our log-jam of opportunities for eBusiness services will start to break and you will see a flurry of closing activities in the coming 6 weeks. 

Speaking of which, can you believe we only have 6 weeks (or so) left in 2012?!?  We've had a great year this year.  We will finish the year ahead of our record breaking 2011 year.  As a result, we've added a lot of people to the roster this year -- and we aren't finished.  You will see a host of new hires in the coming 6 weeks as we lead up to Crown Camp.  Many of these will be the result of the hard work from your Talent Excellence team -- in new hires from several new colleges and general overall recruiting.  I'm also happy to announce that the Denver office is growing again.  3 people have accepted a position in Denver and will start before Crown Camp (and we aren't finished)!

Partner Excellence is really starting to pay dividends.  Our renewed focus on our partners and being strategic to them has really lifted our positions with them (many of which we expect to be Gold or Platinum with by the end of the year).  More to come on this at Crown Camp.

Crown's circle of life goes from a focus on Partner Excellence which drives 75% of our new clients and then transitions to Account Excellence where we get 75% of our revenue.  Our double down on Account Excellence in the last 6 months has really paid dividends to our Customers and therefore Crown.  Many accounts that could have turned sour are seeing Crown as very strategic (SuperVALU, Wyndham, Purchasing Power, etc).  Our investments here will help to carry Crown into 2013 and beyond.  Thank you all for your focus on Customer Excellence through Account Excellence.

Another evolution of Crown in the past 6 months has been our transition to Delivery Excellence, and a separation of Delivery Excellence from Partner Excellence and Account Excellence.  This focus has also started to pay significant dividends for Crown (and of course our Customers).  Doug and his team have really invigorated our focus on delivering on our commitments to our customers.  Again, this is an area that you will see Crown build upon in 2013.

I'm truly looking forward to Crown Camp and with each passing planning meeting get more and more excited.  I believe this year's event will be one to remember and build upon for our next one (maybe sooner than you think).

Finally, I feel comfortable in saying that we have turned the corner in building the plane while flying it.  We know who we are and where we belong, and just need to strap in and fly!
