Crown Made Inc500/5000 a 5th Year in a Row in 2010: 8/30/2010
While it may be a bit weird since we actually shrank in revenue in 2010 vs. 2009, we did make the Inc 5000 list for 2010, again.
“How?” Might you ask? Well, the Inc 5000 list is based upon a 3 year growth. And, in 2009, we grew by 26% over 2006. That growth was enough to get us a spot on the list. Actually, the last place company (generationE Technologies) grew only 1% over that 3 year period. As it turns out, not a lot of companies grew during that period...
Here are some more interesting tidbits:
If you were along for the ride (and what a ride it has been), congratulations! Growing by 26% through the “Great Recession” (or whatever they end up calling the last 2 years) is something to be proud of. If you’re new to Crown (and quite a few of you are in the last couple of months) -- welcome aboard. We averaged nearly 50% growth up to 2007. Given the changes we’ve made to the organization and the folks we’ve hired, we’re set for another growth spurt that could rival the pre 2007 timeframe.

- As one of the 53 companies, Crown Partners is in an elite class of the 20,500 growth companies that have made the Inc500/5000 list since 2006.
- Crown joins familiar names such as Ascentium, ExactTarget, iCrossing and The Go Daddy Group as the cream of the crop!
