New Crown CEO Blog: 10/15/2010

Culture is the sum total of norms, thoughts and actions of the past. Extinction is what happens when culture takes you past the point of necessary evolution. (and I’m not sure where I read this, but it was good enough for me to write it down). This blog is put together to represent the sum total of norms, thoughts and actions of Crown Partners through the eyes of the CEO's communication. My hope is that we start to shape our culture and force the necessary evolution of it to continuously thrive! This blog is meant to communicate the inside, out.
I went though my “Sent” emails to the distribution list “Employees” for content. This blog is the result of my communications to you since January 1, 2007. There is a lot in here. Good, bad, and sometimes ugly. Nonetheless, it is what makes us who we are AND as it is the sum total of the communications that you’ve received and made to believe as the most important ones. It is the fabric of our past. It is not at all representative of our future, as we have the ability to shape our future with each second, with each decision, by each of us.
Are there things in here that might be crazy to put out on the web. Absolutely. However, I’m a believer that we need to be proud of who we are and how we communicate to each other. And, we need to be prepared that all of our communications will end up on the front page of the local news (because it is always just one forward away...).
I will update this blog as I communicate to you all, in the same, unfettered way.
